 KCVAS Conducts Oath–Taking Ceremony of Veterinary Graduates

Amritsar, May 20 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS) conducted Oath-Taking Ceremony of 57 passing out veterinary graduates of batch 2017. Dr. PS Mavi welcomed the Guests Dr. HK Verma Principal KCVAS Amritsar and Managing Director Dr. SK Nagpal. Dr. HK Verma administered the Veterinarian’s Oath to the passing out graduates and asked them to ensure veterinary practice in line with the principles of veterinary ethics. The passing out graduates expressed their gratitude towards the untiring efforts of diligent teachers to fulfill their goal.

Dr. SK Nagpal blessed the new Vets with the advice to work with integrity, sincerity and honesty while serving the dumb creatures which are important part of farming community and are the livelihood means for them along with food security of the nation. Dr. Mavi shared the achievements of the students who brought laurels to the college and Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana.

Principal Dr. Verma congratulated the outgoing veterinary graduates and wished them all success in their future endeavors. He said you are the most important for the success of the One health program and Antimicrobial resistance and for enhancing animals’ productivity while keeping them Healthy. He also encouraged students to take part in extra-curricular activities to keep themselves happy and healthy in life, besides their duty towards profession. The function was attended by Heads of Departments, faculty members and parents of the passing out students. The ceremony was sponsored by Vyravet, Delhi and Dinesh Goswami. Students shared their fruitful experiences of five and a half year stay in the college. The Eco club of the College donated 40 plants to KCVAS and will be planted in the KCVAS to make it a green campus.
