Auspicious Beginning of New Year at DAV Public School

Amritsar, Jan. 9 (Punjab Post Burea) – DAV Public School, Lawrence Road today commenced the New Year by paying obesiance to the Almighty. The whole school gathered for the auspicious Havan and wished for the bright and prosperous year ahead for everyone. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school blessed the students and the teachers on this occasion and gave her best wishes for the coming annual exams. She asked the students to put in their best by burning the mid night oil as it is going to be a test of their dedicated hard work of the previous year. She said that each new year should bring some promises of improving upon one’s weaknesses and perfecting one’s strengths . She urged the students to be focussed and seek the blessings of God for their bright future.

               Arya Ratan Sh.Punam Suri President DAV CMC, New Delhi sent his blessings for the students on the New Year wishing peace, brotherhood, compassion and divine bliss in their lives. He asked them to take this opportunity and pledge to imbibe values for becoming Shreshth Humans. Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Principal BBK DAV College for Women and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul OSD , DAV University, Jalandhar also sent their best wishes for the teachers and the students. They urged the students to welcome the New Year with a conviction to work hard to fulfil one’s aim. They asked the students to learn from the past mistakes and make them their stepping stones.
