DAV Public School Promotes the Spirit of Seva Through Blood Donation Camp

Amritsar, August 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, organised a Blood Donation Camp today in a meaningful endeavour towards serving society and promoting the spirit of seva, compassion and social responsibility. The camp was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad and Lions Club Amritsar as part of the Vedic Saptah, being celebrated from 21 to 27 August 2026 under the auspices of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Up Sabha Punjab.

The camp received an encouraging and wholehearted response from the school community. The Principal, teachers, support staff and parents came forward voluntarily to donate blood and contribute to this noble cause. Their participation reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing values of empathy, selflessness and service among its students and the wider community.

The initiative served as a meaningful reminder that a small act of kindness can become a lifeline for someone in need. Through the blood donation drive, the school community came together to uphold the spirit of humanity and demonstrate that education extends beyond academics to cultivating responsible and compassionate citizens.
