DAV Public School Showcases Photography Exhibition at Art Gallery

Amritsar, Feb. 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Edu–Clicks – The Third Annual Photography Exhibition of clicks by students and staff of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar was inaugurated in the Prestigious Thakur Singh Hall, Art Gallery, M.M. Malviya Road by Honourable Sh.Bakshi Ram Arora Mayor Amritsar , It is open for the  public from 10.30  am to 6.00 PM on  all the three days i.e  2^nd Feb to 4^th Feb., 2015. Portraits, Flora and Fauna and Architecture have been captured by the amateur artists. A new addition is Tribal Art and Graffiti Boards by a very talented student Sahil Singh Aleria.

 Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school was also present to encourage the students for their creative venture. After the overwhelming success of the first two exhibitions, this is the 3^rd innovative and artistic effort put up by the  Publication Department of the school under the creative backup and supervision of Mrs.Pratibha Panghal, Supervisor Publication and Incharge photography and Mrs.Varuna Khanna of fine Arts .

 The students have showcased as many as 100 photographs on various themes. Inspired by the encouragement received from  Arya Ratan Sh. Punam Suri President DAV CMC, New Delhi and Chairman of the school,  the young photographers have made an effort to put up a zestful and versatile show of their imagination and skill.

 Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road and the Manager of the school Dr. Rakesh Kumar Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to explore new avenues for themselves in this fast expanding stream of photography.
