
Amritsar, Aug. 5 (Manjit Kaur) – Chief Khalsa Diwan has handed over the Hostel accommodation to Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Senior officials in Sri Guru Amardas Niwas for the students who are admitted in IIM, Amritsar in the current session. At this occasion Additional Honorary Secretary S. Harminder Singh said that Sri Guru Amardas Niwas comprises of spacious and airy 54 rooms out of which 36 rooms are opened for residential purpose for IIM students after setting up the furniture there. well furnished 36 rooms of 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the building have total 72 beds with attached bathrooms. The accommodation is housed with elevators, ultramodern neat and clean Kithen ,living hall, dining hall in the basement, beautiful garden and reception cum office., Special arrangements are made for the security of the students in the hostel. Director Education Dr. Dharamveer Singh, Senior Administrative Officer, IIMK K. Sadanandan and other IIM officials were present there.
