CKDIMT Amritsar bags overall Winners Trophy at Hunar – 2015

Amritsar, Dec. 3 (Manjit Kaur) –  Setting another milestone CKD Institute of Management & Technology(CKDIMT) ASR won the overall winners trophy in HUNAR 2015 held at Tarn Taran recently. The premises of the host institute resounded with the achievements and outstanding talent of the students of CKDIMT . It is again a proven fact that may it be academics or cultural events, CKDIMT attains glorious heights in all spheres of students life. It was indeed a proud achievement to have won the coveted championship trophy from among a huge number of students totalling to around 1400 from various colleges from different cities of Punjab like Amritsar, Ferozepur, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Jallandhar, Gurdaspur, Batala, Pathankot and Tarn taran. It was an amalgamation of Literary, Musical, Fine Arts and Technical Events. The endless list of prizes is yet another feature to be proud of. Gurinder Singh ( MBA I), Atul Devgan (BCAIII) won Ist and 3rd positions respectively in the event of ‘Click Trick’. Mohit (ATHMI) won the Rapid Chess event. In ‘ What’s your story’ Nalinshay (BCAIII) got Ist position, Chirjot  ( BBA I) 2nd position and Priya Joshi ( ATHM III) and Ankita (BBA I) shared 3rd positions. Gurparkash Singh (MBA I) bagged 3rd position in ‘Just 2 Minutes’. Vishal (BBA I) and Mandeep ( BCAIII ) took Ist and 2nd positions in ‘Essay Writing’.  Simmer (BCAIII ) won Ist position in ‘Cartooning’. Priya Joshi (ATHM III) got Ist prize and Vaishali (BBA I) got 3rd position in ‘Paper Reading Contest’.

            CKD President S.Charanjit Singh Chadda applauded the students and encouraged them to make winning a habit. Also present on the occasion were Hon.Secretary S. Narinder Singh Khurana, Host Principal of  Tarn taran Management college Dr. Harpreet Singh along with eminent members of CKD family. Member In charge Dr. Baljindar Singh and Principal Dr. H.S Sandhu applauded the performance  of  the participating  students and praised the hard work and successful efforts of Prof. Ramandeep Walia and Prof. Hansdeep Kaur who enabled students to bag the overall winner trophy.
