Amritsar, Dec. 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – On the occasion of World AIDS Day Chief Khalsa Diwan International Nursing College, organised AIDS awareness program under the direction of Principal Dr. (Mrs) Darshan Kaur Sohi. Various groups of students participated in quiz and poster competition followed by prize distribution for winners. Lecturers of nursing college Ms Ramandeep Kaur, Randeep kaur, Kirandeep kaur presented seminar on AIDS. Dr. (Mrs.) Darshan Kaur Sohi enlighted her views on the theme that is “Getting to Zero; End by 2030” given by WHO. She further focused on the need and joint efforts of whole society to accomplish the goal of zero deaths with AIDS. At the end of occasion, students and teachers reunite together to spread AIDS awareness among local community by handling posters through Red Ribbon walking march. On this instance Ms Mandeep kaur, Arundeep kaur, Kiranjit kaur, Jasdeep Kaur, Mrs. Manwinder Kaur, Harmanpreet Kaur and other staff members were also present.
