Prof. Amnon Kohen addresses students at KCPS

Amritsar, 30 May (Dharmender Singh Rataul)  – Prof. Amnon Kohen from University of Iowa, USA today addressed the students of Khalsa College Public School and stressed on the inter-disciplinary studies of Science. Working in the field of Enzymology, he emphasized on how science is an integrated education and how it is changing the daily lives. Having come on the invitation of Dr. Sarvjit Kaur Brar, Principal of the school, Prof. Kohen said that the studies of the enzymes would help us in big way to study the diseases including the epidemic which are affecting the human life.

            Dr. Brar welcomed and honored guest speaker and said the interaction of learnred professor with students was marked with inquisitive session where students gained lots of knowledge and acknowledged them with the effect of enzymes on various diseases and as how the study of enzymes acts as an aid in the development of new drugs. Prof. Palwinder Singh, GNDU co ordinator of central instrumentation facility working in the area of drug design was also present.
