Amritsar, Oct. 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education of BBK DAV College for Women was honoured with Hari Singh Nalwa Award for her outstanding contribution in the field of sports under Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The ceremony was held at Ajanta Public School. Sh. S.P. Aagram, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) was the Chief Guest. S. Harjinder Singh Sandhu, District Development Panchayat Officer & Sh. Rajesh Sharma, Sub-Division Magistrate -II were present on the occasion. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated Mrs. Sweety Bala on her achievement. She added that it was a proud moment for the college and DAV Managing Committee.
