DAV Public School Clinches Overall Trophy

Amritsar, January 31 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A Fine Arts Competition was held at DAV College of Education for Women recently. The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road participated in two different categories in this competition and bagged first prize in both the categories.

In the category ‘Best Out of Waste, Vrinda Tayal & Vardhani Gupta of Std X  and in Category ‘POP/ Shilpkar’, Nupur Nayyar and Kavya Bhagat of Std X  won first prize respectively.  Their creations were highly applauded for the creativity and innovative idea. Many schools from in and around Amritsar had participated in the competition. Based on their  fabulous performance, the school clinched the Overall Trophy in this competition.

Regional Director , Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated  the students for their creative passion and blessed them for their future  endeavours. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school, applauded the students and teachers for putting in their best. She encouraged them to keep up the good work.
