424 students of D.A.V Public School presented “Rise of Symphony”

Amritsar, March 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The annual function of UKG, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Neera Sharma was held on 7^th March 2017 at Urvi Auditorium D.A.V Public School Lawrence Road under the title “Rise of Symphony”. 424 students presented this function in 2 shows. In the morning show, Dr V.P Lakhanpal ji (Senior L.M.C member) was the chief guest and in the evening show Dr. Neelam Kamra (Regional Director Punjab Zone-A) was the chief guest. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College and the manager of school was also there. The title of the function “Rise of Symphony” in itself depicted its theme i.e music and musical instruments. The little performers of D.A.V Public School were successful in showing the audiences that how music plays an important role in our life. It inspires us to live a calm life. With their dance performance, they showed that each musical instrument is important. These instruments are incomplete without each other and when they come together they create magic. In his address Dr. V.P Lakhanpal applauded the efforts of the children. He said that music is really a life which relaxes mind and gives peace to soul. These tiny tots with their smile and actions made it more interesting and captured our heart.

Dr. Neelam Kamra also appreciated the efforts of the children. She said that these cultural programmes enhance the hidden talent of the children. They become confident and convey the true message of life. They made us realize that music acts like a magic key which opens the closed heart of the people. Dr. Rajesh Kumar ji also blessed children with his good wishes. Principal Dr. Neera Sharma congratulated the staff and children for their wonderful efforts.
