DAV students Shine in the Result of MSc. Maths

Amritsar, March 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College Amritsar bagged various merit positions in the university examinations held in November-December 2016. In the recent results declared by the University of Class MSc Maths – I semester, Simranjeet Kaur secured 77%  and stood first in university and district, Divya secured 72% and stood fifth in university and second in district, Kirandeep Kaur  secured 71% and stood third in university and got 100 marks out of 100 in Complex Analysis.

The laurels were also brought to the college by Manvi Arora of MSc. (Maths) semester III who secured 75% and bagged first position in District and Damanpreet Kaur secured 74% and bagged second position in District.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Congratulated Prof. R.K Jha Head Department of Mathematics and appreciated hard efforts of merit holders for their excellent results in university examinations. He added that the College is proud of achievement of the Students and motivated them to keep it up. Prof. BB Yadav, Bursar, Prof  Madann Mohan , Prof Menu Aggarwal, Prof Ashu Vij, Prof  Vikram Sharma, Prof Kapil Joura, Prof Sofia, Prof Kashish also extended their heartiest Congratulation to the students.
