The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Auditions in Amritsar

Amritsar, July 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Star Plus is all set to bring back the iconic comedy show – The great Indian Laughter Challenge. Channels and the production house – Vineyard productions held auditions in the city of Amritsar. Amritsar is the land where great comedians of indian television today emerged from like -Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh & Sugandha Misra. A land of immense love warmth and laughter yet again came in large numbers to audition for the show.

                    People from all over Punjab came in and were standing In the queue since 8 in the morning. 600 plus people came in and showcased their talent. From a 7 year old little girl to a 60 year old from end engineer to a doctor, from a Milkman to a restaurant owner, all of them showed the comic part of their nature. The energy and vibe of Punjab people really prove that it’s the land of comedy artists and the people from here indeed make it to the top.

                        The people selected here after two rounds will go to Mumbai for the 3rd and final round. Akshay Kumar will be seen as the Super-Boss on the show and will be an emotional anchor for the contestants. Having made millions of Indians laugh with his impeccable comic timing, he’ll be seen here judging the show. Some of the most acclaimed digital comedians will be seen as mentors.
