Lion Dr. Aggarwal promised special grant to upgrade the Eye Hospital
Amritsar, Aug. 30 (Punjab Post Bureau) – It was a great and glorious moment for the Lions Club Amritsar Golden 
Temple when International President Lion Dr. Naresh Aggarwal along with his wife Lion Lady Mrs. Navita Aggarwal and Lion Lady Aruna Abhey Oswal International Director of the clubs visited the Lons Club Golden Temple Amritsar 321-D at Ranjit Avenue.
In a press release Lion Baljit Singh Jammu Secretary of the club said that International President Lion Dr. Naresh Aggarwal was given a warm welcome by the President Sukhvinder Singh Narula alongwith members of the Club. Speaking on the occasion President Sukhvinder Singh Narula said that Lion Naresh Aggarwal is the third Indian so far who has reached to such an high level International Position. Narula also explained about the Lions Eye Hospital (Permanent Project of Club) the club and other activities for weaker section of the society.
Lion Naresh Aggarwal while addressing the Club members applauded the efforts of club and they took keen interest in the working of Lions Eye Hospital Amritsar. He promised for the special grant to upgrade the hospital. He further said that the clubs are doing good humanitarian tasks and these Constant efforts definitely bring good results. Every club should adopt some permanent projects for the service of mankind, he added. Lion Lady Aruna Abhey Oswal performed installation swearing in ceremony to the office bearers of various clubs.
The club members present includes Lion Jagmohan Singh Dua, Hardip Singh Kharka, Rohit Mehra, Ajaib Singh Abhiasi, Jasbir Singh, Kamal Pehalwan, Narinder Singh, J.S Nagpal, Sukhjinder Singh, Kanwardeep Singh, GS Matharoo, Mandeep Singh, Paramjit Singh, Jasbir Singh Saggu, Iqbal Singh Luthra, Surinder Mahajan, Maninder Singh, Vipan Sharma, KR Jain, K Verma and many others were present on the occasion.
