Kora Kagaz Club visits Qila Jeevan Singh

Amritsar, Dec. 28 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Kora Kagaz’ Club of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, organized a one day camp at Government High School, Qila Jeevan Singh on 23 December 2017 as an endeavour to serve society. The team of Kora Kagaz distributed 150 notebooks to the needy students of the school which were prepared from unused papers of the college.

The team members of Kora Kagaz had an interaction with the students of the school. Kajal Tiwari, Kora Kagaz club’s president and student of M.Sc Computer Science sem 3, addressed the students and explained the Kora Kagaz project, a community development initiative of the college. Principal, Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the team for their tremendous efforts and encouraged the volunteers to work with the same zeal. NSS Programme officers Mrs. Surbhi Sethi, Mrs. Priya Sharma and Mrs. Neha Sehgal were also present on the occasion.
