Shailender  of  DAV Red Cross School for special children won Gold Medal in Special Olympics

Amritsar, July 28 (Punjab Post Bureau)- With the blessings of Arya Ratan Shri Poonam Suri (President DAV College Managing  Committee New Delhi) and Sh. J.P.Shoor (Director , PS I ) Shailender  Student of DAV Red Cross School for special children , has brought Laurels to the school and parents by winning Gold Medal in Special Olympics, National Games  Badminton. Heas Mistress Mrs. Simmi Luthra said that these games were held at Mumbai, MAH  from 19^th July 14 to 24 July 14 and 22 States from overall India participated in these games . Shailender won Gold Medal in National Championship for Badminton event Doubles and fourth place  in Singles. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra (RD and Manager of the school) and Principal , Dr. (Mrs.) Neera Sharma congratulated Shailender and coaches, Mr. Rajiv Verma and Mrs. Varinder Kaur for this great achievement.
