DAV College Wins First Position in Tug of War Championship

Amritsar, January 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  DAV College has won first position in Tug of War All India Intervarsity championship which was organized at Guru Nanak Dev University. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated Dr. BB Yadav Head Department of Sportsand Physical Education. He also applauded the achievements of sports persons Jagroop Singh, Harpreet Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Amanjeet Singh, Amritpal Singh and Abhijeet Singh for their hard striven efforts.  Dr. B.B Yadav said that College has won first position in championship defeating  layalpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, Khalsa College Amritsar and Government College Gurdaspur and he also added that our three students Jagroop Singh, Harpreet Singh and Abhijeet Singh are also selected for national level competition which is going to be held at Patiala. Other faculty members Dr. Drashandeep president sports board, Dr. Vikas Bhardwaj, Dr Sandeep kumar and Dr . Davinder also congratulated all the team members for their success.
