Mini Marathon Organized for the Students in Ferozepur

Jalandhar, Jan. 12 Jan (Punjab Post Bureau) –  A Mini Marathon 2018 was organized for the students in Ferozepur at the military station by the Golden Arrow Division as part of the series of events of ‘Know your Army’ campaign for the forthcoming Army Day.  The run was organised to promote healthy lifestyle and reinforce emphasis on physical fitness amongst the vibrant youth. The participants got the experience of running on the iconic Mall road which houses historic war memorials.Brigadier HS Mehar, Commander Golden Arrow Artillery brigade, flagged off the event. 250 Students participated in the marathon which was witnessed by parent and teachers. Winners were given prizes.
