DAV Public School Second at Regional Level Science Exhibition

Amritsar, Jan. 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – It is a matter of great pride that two students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road, made it to the finals of the prestigious CBSE National Science Exhibition. Ravish Gulati of Std VII and Tanul Manan of Std X grabbed Second Position in the Regional Level (North Zone) Science Exhibition 2017-18 held at MGN Public School Jalandhar recently.  As many as 127 schools from North Zone including Jammu and Kashmir participated in it. Both the students competed under the theme, ‘Mathematical Modeling’ with the sub theme ‘Implication Tools’ and won the appreciation of the judges and the teachers for their ingenuity and application. Regional Director, Punjab Zone –A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school praised the students for their in depth knowledge and blessed them for their bright future. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school while congratulating the students said participation in such competitions makes one confident enough to face the global challenges ahead. She advised the students to grab such opportunities which provide them the right kind of the exposure.
