DAV Public School Shines At All India Level in Vaigyanika

Amritsar, Jan 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Three students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar once again proved  their unbeatable wit and genius by winning laurels in the final round of Vaigyanika – 2017 at the National  Level. It was organised by Shaheed  Rajpal DAV Public School , Delhi under the aegis of DAV College  Managing Committee recently.

 The competition is held every year for students from classes VI to XII to encourage them to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts. This year as many as 2000 students of Std XI appeared from DAV institutions all over India.  Out of these students only 16 students were selected for the final round and three students out of these 16 were from DAV Public School Lawrence Road. Eshaan  Sharma of XI ( Non – Med) bagged First Position in Physics and Manarth Saini of XI ( Non – Med .) grabbed 3^rd position in Physics at the National  Level and won a trophy and cash prizes. Arush Sharma of Std XI (Non – Med) bagged second position in Hands on competition and third position in chemistry.

 Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr, (Mrs.)  Neelam Kamra  and the Manager of the school  Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College Amritsar  congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and blessed them for their  future endeavors. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the students and the teachers for their achievement. She said that it was the hard work and diligent efforts of the students under the guidance of the teachers that had borne fruits. They have set an example for other students to work even harder to meet the challenges in future.
