Ex–student of DAV Public School Lawrence inspired juniors in an informal talk

Amritsar, Feb. 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Rahul Sharma an ex–student of DAV Public School Lawrence Road visited the school today and inspired his juniors in an informal talk. It was a proud moment for the school to extend a warm welcome to an IAS officer under training.  Rahul Sharma cleared his STD XII from the school in 2009 and pursued B.Tech from Thapar University. After that he joined IBM, Delhi as a software Engineer. But his never dying spirit and dire will to explore sky beyond sky hammered him to take up something nobler, bigger and challenging.  He cleared his PCS in 2015 but due to some unavoidable reasons, he could not clear his interview. Not disheartened, he took it as God’s will and sign to do something more challenging. With double the spirit and zeal, he prepared for the UPSC exam and cleared it in 2016 with 76^th AIR.

According to his teachers, even in school days he was known for his diligence, dedication, perseverance and devotion to purpose. While addressing the students, he advised them not to be discouraged by  any  failure but take it as a stepping stone to   reach  their dream destination with perseverance.

Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar were very happy at his achievement.  They patted his back and encouraged him never to give up in front of unethical policies. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school blessed him and said that the country needs such young and diligent leaders who have a vision to revamp the country into an uncorrupt and developed nation. She also advised the students to work according to the regime suggested by Rahul and taking him as a role model, they must also bring laurels to the institute.
