DAV Public School Crowned Excellent Institution

Amritsar, Mar. 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV Public School Lawrence Road was crowned as

‘Excellent Institution’ for its dedicated efforts in the field of Cleanliness and Sanitation under Swachh Bharat Mission organised by Municipal Corporation, Amritsar in collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.  The school was awarded this certificate under  Swachhta Survey – 2018 conducted by Municipal  Corporation , Amritsar covering all the hotels, schools , colleges , Hospitals and localities of  the city , at a special award ceremony by  the Joint Commissioner Sh . Sourabh Arora.

In his address he congratulated the Principal of the school for her guidance and supervision in the implementation of  Swachhta Mission in the school . He added that the certificate has been awarded to  institutions after stringent and comprehensive inspection and DAV Public School is the first Public  school in the city to be awarded this  certificate.

Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the School expressed her happiness on receiving the certificate and added that it was the responsibility of all the people in the city to be a part of this mission to make it a success. Regional Director Punjab Zone  – A  Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the school for the good work and gave their best wishes for its future endeavors.
