2 Days National Conference on Hand surgery concluded

Amritsar, Apr. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – 2 days National Conference on Hand Surgery s concluded in the holy city of Amritsar. This Conference was organized by India-Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand in association with Amandeep Hospitals & Clinic

Dr. Ravi Mahajan, Chief Plastic Surgeon Amandeep Group, the Organizing Chairperson for the conference, said that this Mid Term CME is a matter of pride for us to hold such a prestigious Conference in the holy city because specialists from all over the country attended the conference & it definitely benefitted the local upcoming Plastic & Orthopedic Surgeon of the region, who are interested in hand surgery & thus they will be able to pass on this benefit to the patients of the region.

Dr. Mahajan said that Dr.  Abraham G. Thomas visited the conference as Chief Guest & Dr. Hardas Singh & Prof. Jaspal Singh- Vice Chancellor, GNDU were guest of honor in this conference. Dr. Avtar Singh, Chief Orthopedic Surgeon, Amandeep Group, Dr. Amandeep Kaur, CEO-cum-MD, Amandeep Group, Dr. Shahbaz Singh- GM Amandeep Group, Dr. Anupreet Kaur, Sandeep Rishi- ADC Tarn-Taran, Rohit Gupta, SDM Batala were also present during the inauguration ceremony. In the 2 days conference, topics like- General Principles of Hand Surgery, Examination of injured hand, Nail Bed Injuries, Finger Tip Injuries, Management of acute hand burns, post burn hand deformities, electric burn upper limb salvage, wrist arthroscopy, rehabilitation after hand surgery and all other recent developments in the field of hand surgery were discussed by various faculty members of the society. More than 35 hand Surgeons visited to deliver their lectures in the 2 days conference.
