Alumni Portal launched at DAV College

Amritsar, April 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Alumni Association of the College in partnership with Almabay Company has launched an Alumni Portal in DAV College which has been linked with College Website for the benefits of New and old Students. This Software was provided by Mr Vishal Sood CEO Almabay Chandigarh, Alumns of the College and Alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and Mr. Kamal Nagpal Vice President Almabay. This company has provided this alumni portal and software to various universities and colleges till now. This event was organized under guidance of Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar and Mr S.K Sehgal, President Alumni Association, Prof Sunil Sachdeva, General Secretary Alumni Association. While briefing about benefits of this portal, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal said it is quite useful portal that we have launched today as this software will be of great help to link passed out students with college, who are well established and turn out to be very important knowledge and financial resource for the college and society itself. He further added that college is working as a facilitator in order to promote professional networking between new and old students. While speaking, Mr. Vishal Sood CEO Almabay said that it is very proud moment for the their company to provide such facilities to his own college and he added that this portal will be used to perform multiple tasks like it will help old students to connect with present ones and also offers Cloud computing suggestions to students and it will also helkp old students to get updated with latest college news. Besides it will also help them to improve their business and service practice. Some students were also given technical training to use this software properly by the team of Almabay Company.
