IAS, PCS, UGC Coaching Classes at KCA from August 20

Amritsar, August 11 ( Dharminder Singh Rataul)- The Coaching Centre for Competitive Examinations at Khalsa College Amritsar will commence its classes for IAS, PCS and UGC-NET and other competitive examinations from August 20. The registration for the same has been declared open and the aspirants can apply to appear in an interview following which first batch for the preliminary exam of top competitive exams will undergo specialized coaching under expert teachers from the college and resource persons to be arranged from outside. Khalsa College Principal Dr. Mehal Singh said last year many of their students cleared the UGC and Probationary Officer’s exams after getting the coaching from here. He said this time they will be providing coaching for the IAS and PCS too. A meager amount of fees is charged for these courses. He said the coaching centre was emerging as boon for the border area students to get professional coaching. He said two coordinators including Dr.JS Gandhi from Chemistry Department and Prof. SS Manto from English Department had been appointed for the program.
