Incubation center will be established in Guru Nanak Dev University – Prakash Javadekar

PPN0106201813Amritsar, June 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  “An Incubation Center will be established in Guru Nanak Dev University Campus shortly  to cater to the needs of New Startup Companies”, said Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India Sh. Prakash Javadekar while delivering his convocation address at the 44th Annual Convocation of Guru Nanak Dev University.

            He said that lack of opportunities and a guiding hand to the new ideas and thoughts results into brain drain and many students preferred to move abroad. He said that by establishing this centre the requirements of students and the region will be kept in mind to encourage new startup companies.

            Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu expressed his gratitude towards Sh. Javadekar to announce the establishment of Incubation centre in the university.  He hoped that this centre would be beneficial not only for students but for the entrepreneurs also.

            In this centre Management Training in the right environment will be provided to the new startup companies. This will provide a platform on which an idea can be nurtured into viable business and it will help them to compete in the professional world. New startup companies can get some expert mentoring. This will also help them to find initial funds and networking.
