DAV Public School Grabs top Positions in International Mathematics Olympiad

Amritsar, Aug. 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – -In the second level of International Mathematics Olympiad conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation recently, the students of DAV Public School bagged top position at the Zonal Level. These Olympiad promote knowledge, logical   reasoning and competitive skills in various subjects. Rudrani Mohindru of Std. V secured Zonal Rank 1 in this Olympiad and was awarded a Zonal Gold Medal and Certificate of Zonal Excellence along with a cash prize. Other students, Daksh Mittal of Std. III. Pranshul Arora of Std. VII, Nipun Nohria of Std. VIII, Rehaan Sharma and Japnoor Singh of Std. VIII bagged Zonal ranks below 25 and were awarded Certificate of Zonal Excellence and gift hampers for their brilliant performance.

Regional Officer Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra & the Manager of the school and Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College for boys Amritsar congratulated the achievers and blessed them to bring laurels to the school and the nation with their hard work.

School Principal Dr. Neera Sharma encouraged the students to participate and utilize the opportunities provided by the school to the fullest. She added that students must explore different avenues to top their potential and excel in the field of their choice.
