Road Safety & Traffic Awareness Seminar held at BBK DAV College

Amritsar, Aug. 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Keeping in view the frequent traffic chaos on roads, BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar today organized a seminar on “Road Safety and Traffic Awareness” here at college seminar hall. Madam Kamal Deep Kaur (ACP) traffic, Mr. Paramjeet Singh Sub Inspector (Incharge Traffic Education Cell) & Sardar Surinder Pal Singh Traffic Marshal was the special guests on the occasion. Mrs. Manbir Kaushal, Vice Principal presented a floral welcome to the guests. Addressing the students, Kamal Deep Kaur exhorted students to follow traffic rules. She said by following the traffic norms such as wearing helmets, seat-belts, keeping first aid and driving at low pace, we all can ensure our safety on roads. She interacted with students and cleared the traffic related problems and doubts. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Surinder Pal Singh said co-operation of students is must in regulating the traffic rules. NSS, NCC and Red Cross Units of the college attended the seminar.  Vice Principal Mrs. Manbir Kaushal presented a vote of thanks to the guests and said that seminar was an eye opener for students.
