Launch of Big Leap Club designed to mentor the SME Leaders
Chandigarh, Aug. 28, ( Bureau) – SMEs are looking forward to The Big Leap Summit being hosted at ISB Mohali campus on 6th & 7th September 2014. The summit is being organised by the ISB’s Munjal Institute for Global Manufacturing (MIGM) in collaboration with Go-Live and Business World. “Traditionally interest of institute and faculty lies in large firms, but we are opening a window for SMEs” says Pradeep Singh, Deputy Dean & CEO Mohali Campus, Indian School of Business.
The summit is an opportunity for owners, promoters, entrepreneurs, top executives, technologists, financial institutions, strategists & policy advocates to connect and discuss on how to accelerate growth for business. The participants can gain insights from the global faculty of ISB and Industry Experts from Technology, Social Media, Financial Institutions and Supply Chain. The format is as an interactive workshop to encourage empowered learning for the Leaders from SME sector.At the summit, The Big Leap Club will be launched in which participating companies can take benefit of business assistance over a period of one year. Sanjay Diwan, Director Go-Live says “The Big Leap Club is designed to address the need to support SMEs implement the key takeaways from the summit in their businesses for accelerated growth”.
The aim of the Big Leap Club is to provide 360 degree support and guidance to SMEs on sourcing funds, identifying new markets, promoting their companies, services and products by making use of traditional and new media, designing customer outreach programs, managing the supply chain, helping in technical tie-ups and ensuring optimization. The program will not only help the SMEs to grow but will also act as a catalyst in strengthening the Indian economy. The Big Leap Summit will be held at ISB campus, Mohali on 6th and 7th September and various industry leaders including Dinesh Gulati, CEO, IndiaMart; Manisha Sood, Director & Country Lead (SMB), Microsoft; David Lelliott, British Dy.
