DAV Public Student Shine in Karate Championship

Amritsar, Sept. 5 (Punjab Pot Bureau) – Gurpreet Singh Kataria of Std III of DAV Public School,  Lawrence Road , Amritsar bagged Gold Medal in 25 Kg  category in 8^th Punjab State Seiko Kai Shito – Ryu Karate- Do–Championship–2014 held at St. Soldier Elite Convent School, Amritsar recently . This little Karate wizard has also won a Gold Medal in 2^nd Punjab State Shigo Kai Karate Championship and USKF Independence Cup Karate Championship in under 25 Kg category respectively. Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul Principal DAV College congratulated the student  for their brilliant performance and blessed them for future endeavors. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the School expressed her happiness at the diligent efforts put in by the student. She said it was good to see students showing interest in extra–curricular activities and excelling in them. She blessed him for his future endeavors.
