Teachers’ role in society’s progress hailed during teacher day at Khalsa institutions

Teachers’ Day celebrated with enthusiasm at Khalsa Educational Institutions

Amritsar,  Sept.  5 (Dharminder Rataul)- The role of a teacher in building the civilized society was hailed during the teacher’s day celebrations at various Khalsa College Educational institutions. A colourful function was organized at Khalsa college of Education (KCE) where the occasion was used to honour the teachers and the family members of legendry Punjab architecture Bhai Ram Singh who designed the picturesque Khalsa College and other historical buildings. KCE Principal Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon said they had an opportunity to recall the services of Bhai Ram Singh who himself was a teacher and great architect. The students presented a cultural function  depicting the skits, choreography, dance and singing, devoted to the teachers. Similarly the teachers’ day was celebrated at Khalsa College for Women (KCW), Khalsa College Public School (KCPS), KCE Ranjit Avenue, Khalsa College International Public School (KCIPS), Khalsa College Senior Secondary School and Khalsa College Girls Senior Secondary School.
