Annual Function of UKG of D.A.V Public School organized

Amritsar, Feb. 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) – With the blessings of Aryan Ratna Padma Shri Punam Suri President of D.A.V College managing committee  and under the guidance of Principal Dr. Neera Sharma (D.A.V Public School) annual function was presented named as  “Krishna Gopala “. In this program 485 students of UKG participated with great enthusiasm. The students presented the life of Lord Krishna with great vibrancy and elation. The program started with the birth of Lord Krishna and showcased different aspects of his life like Makhan Chori, Govardhan Leela, Krishan Sudama friendship and Raasleela.

            Children conveyed this message through their performance to the audience that we are forgetting our rich culture and heritage. It is the duty of every family member to guide the children to follow the traditions and adopt them in their life.

            The program was presented in two shows. Iqbaljit Singh (Philanthropic Industrialist) was the chief guest of morning show and Narinder Sharma  Municipal town planner was the chief guest of evening show .

            The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by honorable chief guest. Revered Dr. Neelam Kamara Regional  Officer Punjab Zone ‘A’  and esteemed manager of D.A.V. Public School Dr. Rajesh Kumar ji (Principal D.A.V. College Amritsar ) appreciated the efforts made by the students and teachers. Principals of other schools and LMC members  were also present.

            Ms Shama Sharma Incharge of co-curricular activities and Ms Anuradha Grover Incharge of D.A.V Public School Cantt. welcomed the guests and parents..

            Principal Dr. Neera Sharma ji guided the children to be an obedient child and a kind friend like Krishna. She also motivated them to imbibe the good values..  

            The chief guest of the morning show advised the parents and grandparents to spend quality time with children and also to make their children aware about their customs and traditions. The chief guest of the evening show praised the commendable efforts by teachers and children and guided the children to lead a virtuous life and adopt good habits like eating healthy food, taking care of animals, sharing and caring. 

            Everyone present there appreciated the performance of children and expressed that these types of programmes enhance the confidence level of the children.
