Sri Guru Hakrishan Public School G.T Road celebrates Mother’s Day

Amritsar, May 9 (Punjab Pot Bureau) –  Mother’s Day is a time of commemoration and celebration for moms. Mother’s Day we celebrated with gaiety and fervour in Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School G.T. Road Amritsar. The students of Primary Section enthralled the audience by presenting the plethora of cultural items. Prof. Hari Singh Member Incharge SGHP Sr. Sec. G.T. Road School, accorded a warm welcome to the Guests of Honour Dr. Harinder Kaur a renowned Obstetrician & Gynaecologist,    Mrs. Surinderpal Kaur Dhillon, Principal Khalsa College of Education, Mrs. Ajit Kaur Ankhi, Mrs. Satwant Kaur and Mrs. Prabhjot Kaur Ghura. The programme specially organised for mothers commenced with shabad followed by welcome dance. The play “Jin sach pale hoye” composed on the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji dedicated to his 550th Birth Anniversary was the star attraction of the programme. Choreography based on the unconditional love of mother filled the air with emotions and nostalgia. The highlight of the program was the Prize Distribution Function rewarding hard work of the students of primary section. Nirmal Singh President CKD and Bhag Singh Ankhi Chairman Schools appealed the mothers to make their kids responsible citizens with the global outlook. Avtar Singh, Surinder Singh, Sawinder Singh, Harminder Singh, Dr. T. S Chahal  and Dr. Dharam Veer Singh were also present on the occasion. The programme concluded with the vibrant Bhangra performance.
