CAPT AMARINDER CONDOLES DEATH OF SR. IAS OFFICER SANJAY KUMAR’S MOTHER

Chandigarh, June 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has condoled the death of Veena Sahay (85), mother of senior IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary (Sports) Sanjay Kumar.

          Veena breathed her last at PGI this morning after a brief illness. She is survived by her two sons and two daughters. The cremation would be held on June 10, 2019 (Monday) at Cremation Ground in Sector 25 at 11 AM, according to family sources.

          The Chief Minister extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, terming it an irreparable loss for them. He prayed for peace for the departed soul and courage for family to cope in these difficult times.
