Amandeep Group of Hospitals celebrated World Yoga Day

Amritsar, June 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Amandeep Group of Hospitals Celebrated, World Yoga PUNJ2306201901Day. Doctors, Nurses, Paramedical Staff, many employees, patients & general public at large, participated in this Yoga Session. Yoga Instructors  Mr.  Pardeep, Mr. Kumar & Dr Aman Bijral, not only told in brief about various Yoga Asanas and it’s benefits but also practically demonstrated Yoga Asanas, which were followed by all the participants.

           Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Avtar Singh (Director Orthopaedic Deptt. Chief Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon) said that Yoga is an ancient practice which brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind. Yoga is a form of exercise that is performed through diet, breathing and physical posture.

           Dr. Amandeep Kaur (CEO Amandeep Group) said that the present life style is full of stress and tension so in order to neutralize mental stress and tension Yoga and meditation is the right solution that helps to release Mental Stress and Tension.

              Dr. Shahbaz Singh GM of Amandeep Medicity informed that the theme of 5th International Yoga Day 2019 is “Climate Action”. Climate Action theme focuses on the way how yoga can help us to solve the problem of climate change and also it bring lot more benefits into the lives of people. It is necessary to work towards climate change.

               World Yoga Day was organized simultaneously at Amandeep Medicity Mall Road, Amandeep Hospital, GT Road and Amandeep Cricket Academy Amritsar, Amandeep Hospital Pathankot, Amandeep Multi-Specialty OPD Clinics- Jammu & Ferozepur, Amandeep College of Nursing. finally at Company Bagh Amritsar for general public in association with F360 Gold Gym where Dr. Aman Bijral delivered diet talk and educated people about healthy nutrients that should be included in our diet.
