Kulwant Singh Kohli appointed President CKD Local Committee of Mumbai

Amritsar, Sept. 24 (Manjit Kaur)- Kulwant Singh Kohli has been appointed President Chief Kahlsa Diwan Local Committee of Mumbai. In a General Executive meeting of CKD at Mumbai S. Kulwant Singh Kohli is honored with the President chair of Chief Kahlsa Diwan Local Committee Mumbai. While handing over the responsibility to him President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha expressed hope for the further development and achievements of Chief khalsa Diwan in Mumbai . S. Kulwant Singh Kohli also assured his honest commitment and sincerity to perform his duties as President , Mumbal Local Committee.

                                Chief Khalsa Diwan has accepted the resignation of Vice President Chief Khalsa Diwan Dr. Santokh Singh by majority of votes In the meeting and the amendments made in the Rule 15 and 17 of Chief Khalsa Diwan constitution for the prosperity and development of Chief Khalsa Diwan were also approved unanimously by General House. In a Press release issued here, Honorary Secy. S. Narinder Singh Khurana commented about the approved Chief Khalsa Diwan constitutional amendments according to which Rule 15— In case the president goes outside the country or due to illness or other special reasons, is not able to perform the duties of President , the same will be carried out by Vice President or in his absence by the Resident president with all the powers of the President. According to the amendment, In case of vacating the position of President due to resignation or on death , Honorary Secretary will issue the agenda of elections to fulfill the position of President within 2 months. Rule 17—- If Honorary secretary is not eligible to perform his duties in case he goes out of country, illness or other special reason, his duties will be carried out by Additional Secretary. According to the amendment President would take responsibility to fulfill the positions of Vice President, Resident President and Honorary Secretary within two months. At this occasion, Resident President S. Nirmal Singh   S. Pritpal Singh Chadha ( Vice President local Committee , Kanpur), Hon. Secy. Local Committe Mumbai Manjit kaur, Joint Secy. Mumbai S. Satnam Singh, President Local Committee Ludhiana S. Amarjit Singh Banga, Hony. Secy. Kanpur Gurinder kaur, among additional Secy. S. Sarabjit Singh, S. Harminder Singh,, S. J.S. Advocate, Director Education Dr. Dharamveer Singh and other Chief Khalsa Diwan Dignitaries from Amritsar and various locations were present.
