DAV Public School observes National Unity Day

 Amritsar, Nov 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  The students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , conducted a special assembly to  commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who really unified the country. He was one of the founding leaders of Republic of India and is known as the Iron Man of India who worked hard to make India a united India.

            The students recalled the life history of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, sang patriotic songs and raised slogans to promote tolerance, patience , integrity and unity. In the end a pledge was taken by the students committing themselves to strive for unity and settle for nothing less.
