A workshop organized on World Radio Day

Amritsar, February, 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A workshop was organized by the Department of Mass Communication and Video Production, DAV College Amritsar on World Radio Day. Samiksha aka Mirchi Sam from Radio Mirchi, 104.8 was the speaker of the day. She introduced the students with the basics of radio and FM.

            RJ Sam spoke about the basics of radio, the commercials on radio and digital radio. Dr Arif Nazir, the head of Department of Mass Communication and Video Production thanked RJ Sam for conducting this workshop. He said that such workshops are very helpful for the students who want to make a career in this field.

            Vice Principal Dr. Darshandeep Singh appreciated the efforts of the department for conducting such valuable workshops. All the faculty members of the department including Prof. Sania Arora, Prof. Vani, Prof. Ruhi, Prof. Ferry Bhatia, Prof. Rajesh, Prof. Collin and Prof. Puneet were also present at the occasion.
