BBK DAV College for Women won the GNDU Inter College Chess Championship

Amritsar, Oct. 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College for Women won the GNDU Inter College Chess Championship held at GNDU Campus, Amritsar form October 13-14, 2014. College players won the trophy by defeating HMV College, Jalandhar, and S.R. Govt College, Amritsar, with a score line of 3-1 and 4-0 respectively. Ms. Rhythm got selected to represent GNDU team for North Zone Intervarsity which is going to be held at Amity Noida, from Oct 28 to Nov 2, 2014. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated the players and wished them good luck for their upcoming tournament. Mrs. Sweety Bala HOD, Sports Department congratulated the winners and appreciated them for their efforts.
