Warm welcome to winners of Zonal Youth Festival Overall Championship Trophy in college campus

Amritsar, Oct. 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The teacher Incharges & participating students were accorded a warm welcome in the college campus on winning Overall Championship Trophy in Zonal Youth Festival of Guru Nanak Dev University. The environment echoed with joy and applaud for the winners. In this competition, this institution not only won the overall trophy but has won 30 positions out of the total of 33 items, of which 19 First positions, 7 Second Positions & 4 Third Positions. The Champion College i.e. BBK DAV College for Women defeated Khalsa College, Amritsar by huge margin in this competition. College got 143 points where as Khalsa College, Amritsar got 76 points followed by GNDU Campus with 69 points. Its noteworthy to mention that the college scored the highest points & the maximum number of First Positions among all the zones of GNDU Youth Festival. Tania declared Best (Theatre) Artist and Drishti declared 2^nd Best (Theatre) Artist. Navneet Kaur declared Best Artist in Folk Orchestra. Kirandeep declared Best Dancer.

The One Act Play of the college ‘Bandh Andhero Mein’ attracted huge applaud from the audience. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra & Dr. Komal Sekhon, Dean Youth Welfare, Mrs. Manpreet Buttar, Mr. Vikram Sharma, Mrs. Aditi Jain, Mrs. Preeti Mahajan congratulated the winners.
