Amritsar, January 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Keeping in mind the post Covid situation, and how to tackle the
challenges of both online and offline classes, DAV Public Schools Punjab Zone–A organised a meeting at DAV Public School Lawrence Road. Dr. J.P Shoor Director Public School- 1 and Aided Schools DAV CMC New Delhi presided over the meeting. Other worthy guests present were Dr. Neelam Kamra Regional Officer Punjab Zone -A and Dr. Pushpinder Walia Manager of the school. In all 21 principals attended the meeting , out of which 6 were virtually connected through video conferencing.
Principal of the school Mrs. Anita Mehra welcomed the Chief Guests and all the principals of DAV Schools, followed by floral welcome.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. J.P Shoor at the very outset appreciated the efforts and the resolutions put in by the teachers and applauded that how heroically they proved to be the drivers of change in this pandemic. He acclaimed that 2020 has been a litmus test for the entire ecosystem, but the teachers weathered the storm, faced challenges and ensured that their students should continue to learn and grow.
He also had a discussion with the Principals of various schools about the challenges met by their teachers and how did they tackle them. He provided an insight on the way to employ different strategies in order to encash the strength of the children to achieve real objectives of the curriculum and affirmed his commitment of support.
After an interactive session the staff members of DAV Public School gave a symbolic Lohri presentation with a prayer to the almighty to grant peace inside and outside.
Mrs. Anita Mehra Principal of the school extended her gratitude for his valuable inputs and staunch support. She assured that the school with abundant caution has perfectly put into place the covid protocol issued by the Centre and State Government and is highly committed in helping students settle back and staying safe.
