Amritsar, January 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – With a view to provide all banking services through digital services, the
HDFC bank today started the facility of Auto-Telling Machine (ATM) at historic Khalsa College campus. The ATM was inaugurated by Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today in presence joint secretary Gunbir Singh and PNB Circle Head Bhupinder Singh Wasu.
Chhina said that facility will be opened 24 hours for the services to the staff and students and would be single window service for various banking operations on the campus. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh said that it was the long pending demand of the teachers, students, hostellers and staff to have such ATM facility on the campus itself. The students can avail deposit cash, withdrawals, cheque deposit, passbook printing, internet banking through the ATM, said Wasu who was accompanied by officials including Sameer Sareen and Love Kumar.
