SGRD University and Johnson & Johnson launches Surgical Skill Training Program

Amritsar, March 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson launched a Surgical Skill Training Program for different surgical specialities. This training program was inaugurated by Dr. Manjit Singh Uppal Director Principal Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Sri Amritsar.

                Dr. Uppal said that this mobile training centre named “Johnson & Johnson Institute on Wheels” would enhance the surgical skills of doctors, nurses and Para medical staff to address the demands of today’s healthcare delivery system and provide better outcomes to patients. He further said that SGRD University is always committed to supporting the government’s ‘Skill India’ program for improving the standards of care in this country.

                 Present on the  occasion includes Dr. Sudershan Kapoor (Professor & Head), Dr. Rana Ranjit Singh, Dr. Arun Kumar Gupta, Dr. Vikas Kakkar, Dr. Gurpreet Singh Bhangu,  Dr.  Darpan Bansal, faculty members and staff.
