Amritsar, April 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Health systems and Sports have a critical role in determining the manner 
in which health services are delivered, utilized and affect health outcomes. This COVID time has shown the importance of medical facilities as well as sports.
Khanna Paper Mills Limited has always been aware and carrying out its Social Responsibility towards city of Amritsar. This time we are handing over medical and sports equipment to district administration under able guidance of G.S Khaira IAS DC Amritsar and vision of Himanshu Agarwal ADC Amritsar. Mr. Khaira thanked to Mr. Kochhar for the initiative of Khanna Paper Mills Ltd. for equipment to medical as well as sports fields.
Suneet Kochhar, Managing Trustee of Madad Charitable Foundation and Director of Khanna Paper Mill, said that Madad Charitable Foundation was formed in 2011 with the objective to carry out social work for cause of Amritsar City and its citizens. Mr. Kochhar further added that from time to time, social work like distribution of dustbins and garbage collection carts for rural areas, distribution of plants under green drive , contribution to Jammu Kashmir Relief Fund, helping the victims of Jaura fatak accident, distribution of Twin bins under Smart city Project for Amritsar city, helping the city police and district administration in the pandemic of COVID 19, giving financial aid to the under privileged children of Nishkam School are some of the established objectives by the Foundation.
ADC Mr. Agarwal said that this is a good move of the company so the children and citizens must be healthy to protect against COVID.
