Seminar on Catch the Rain campaign by Sant Atma Singh Sports Club organised

Amritsar, December 30 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (Government of India) is running Jal Shakti Abhiyan “Catch the Rain” project in the district on behalf of Ministry of Jal Shakti Government of India. Under this program a seminar was organized under Catch the Rain campaign by Sant Atma Singh Sports Club Bua Nangli in Block Harsa Chheena in the district.

                 The speakers of this seminar were Principal Kamalnain Singh and Tajinderpal Kaur, the speakers inspired the people to save water and simultaneously this program was organized with street plays and public participation and after that took a pledge to save water added, around 80 people were present during the program

                Simultaneously, he told that on behalf of Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar, the head of the youth circle, Robanjeet Singh told that in this program, poster launch, Pledge, Prabhat Pheri, rally, wall painting, competitions, seminars, work camps and street level at the village level. Activities like drama, Jan Choupal, Jan Samvad etc. will be done.

                 Simultaneously, he told that all efforts would be made to ensure the participation of youth in this campaign so that the youth and children of the country, inspired by this campaign, take a pledge to conserve water and also motivate the people so that this campaign can be made successful.
