SGPC President takes strict action in woman smoking Sri Harmandar Sahib complex

Amritsar, March 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – In case of a woman caught attempting to smoke birhi inside parikarma (circumambulation) of Sri Harmandar Sahib SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has taken strict action against the employees for negligence.

                 SGPC assistant secretary media Kulwinder Singh Ramdas said on the basis of the investigation report of SGPC’s Flying Department, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has ordered suspension of seven employees and transfer of three.

              Kulwinder Singh said the suspended employees include manager Narinder Singh, additional manager Paramjit Singh, nigran (invigilator) Gurshinder Singh, clerk-cum-nigran Rajwinder Singh, sewadars Bhai Ranjit Singh and Bhai Kuldeep Singh of Sewa Dal, and sewadar Bhai Sukhwinder Singh of Task Force. He added the headquarters of suspended employees have been made at different Gurdwara Sahibs.
