Amritsar, March 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Taking an important decision, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has appointed assistant secretary Sulakhan Singh Bhangali as manager of Sri Harmandar Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib.
Bhangali has been appointed in place of Gurinder Singh, while Gurinder Singh has been transferred as assistant secretary.
Speaking in this regard, SGPC assistant secretary media Kulwinder Singh Ramdas said SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has ordered some administrative transfers, under which, Sulakhan Singh Bhangali has been appointed as manager of Sri Darbar Sahib.
Ramdas said another transfer included Satnam Singh, in-charge of Flying Department as additional manager of Sri Darbar Sahib. Similarly, Sukhbir Singh, in-charge of establishment at Dharam Prachar Committee (DPC) has been transferred as in-charge of Flying Department and Balwinder Singh, in-charge RTI as in-charge of establishment DPC.
Meanwhile, Sulakhan Singh Bhangali while taking charge of service as manager of Sri Darbar Sahib, thanked SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami. Sulakhan Singh said he will make an effort to perform his duty with the support of Sangat and administrative establishment under the fear and inclination towards the Guru.
On the occasion of Sulakhan Singh taking charge of his service, those present included assistant secretary Kulwinder Singh Ramdas, Balwinder Singh, Sakatar Singh, superintendent Malkit Singh, in-charge Harbhajan Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Nirmal Singh, manager Sukhraj Singh, Baghel Singh, Satnam Singh and others.
