Deputy Commissioner constitutes 6 member committee for inspection of oxygen plants

Kapurthala, May 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Vishesh Sarangal has ordered to constitute a 6 member committee for inspection of PSA based oxygen plants at government hospitals in Kapurthala district.The committee comprises of SDM Kapurthala, Civil Surgeon, Deputy Medical Commissioner, XEN PHSC, XEN Public Works Department (B&R) and SDO PWD (Electrical) Kapurthala.

            Deputy Commissioner said that this committee has been set up to check the oxygen generation , pressure of oxygen etc to ensure the smooth functioning of oxygen plants. Capacity of Oxygen Plant at Kapurthala is 1000 LPM (Liter per minute) while 800 LPM at Sultanpur Lodhi whereas Phagwara have oxygen plants with a capacity of 500 LPM. The committee has been directed to submit its report within two days so that corrective steps can be taken as required.
