CKD to organize Nagar Kirtan on Parkash Purab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Dec. 27

Amritsar, Dec. 19 (Manjit Kaur)- Chief Khalsa Diwan is all set for a huge Nagar Kirtan commemorating the birthday of Sri Guru Gobind Singh in which all the schools and colleges under Chief Khalsa Diwan are going to participate. In a Press conference called for the purpose President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha put the light on the preparations of Grand Nagar Kirtan. He also declared that Chief Khalsa Diwan would celebrate the New Year 2015 by giving a start to provide lodging and catering facilities to the needy at Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Sarai at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital on 1 Jan., 2015. He further added that special efforts would be emphasized to promote religious education in schools through religious movies with primary aim to associate the young generation to its roots.

           Hon. Secy. S. Narinder Singh Khurana also commented that huge Nagar Kirtan will start from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Sen. Sec. School to Golden Temple at 9:00 a.m on 27 Dec., 2014. This holy procession will represent the Sadh sangat of various school Bhagatan wala, Pragdass, Airport road, Majitha Road, Golden Avenue, Majhwind, Sultanwind link Road, Ranjit Avenue, and other Schools of Ajnala, Navan Pind, Taran Tarn and Patti including CKD Institute of Mangement and Technology . The Nagar Kirtan would pass from Bhandari Bridge, Hall bazar, Nagar Nigam Chowk, Saragadi Chowk, and Jallianwala bagh and would finally end at Golden Temple. A special efforts would also be performed by Chief Khalsa Diwan for the cleanliness to be maintained during Nagar Kirtan. President also highlighted the New projects going to be completed in the year 2015. He hoped that Like 2014, this new year will also be the year of prosperity and glory for Chief Khalsa Diwan.
