“On the Spot Painting Competition” organised at KAUSA Trust

Amritsar, December 6 (Punjab Post Bureau) – KAUSA Trust hosted an “On the Spot Painting Competition” for school students. The vibrant event unfolded at KT: Kala Museum Lawrence Road Extension Amritsar.

230 students from 25 schools enthusiastically participated in the competition, divided into three groups: “A” group for classes up to UKG, “B” group for classes 1 and 2, and “C” group for classes 3 to 5. Students were given freedom to paint whatever inspire them, resulting in a diverse and impressive array of art works.The esteemed jury consisting Aman Gill a renowned artist and art teacher, George Emmanuel and Brajesh Jolly selected the deserving winners. Refreshment was served to all participants. Each participant received participation medals and colour boxes as tokens of appreciation. Mrs. Anupama Mehra Principal of Spring Blossom School distributed thirty cash awards and medals to the winners, while teachers were honoured with certificates of appreciation.

Earlier, Secretary Rajesh Raina extended a warm welcome to the students, their teachers, and distinguished guests. He assured that KT will continue its efforts to nurture art in the border region. Director Brajesh Jolly expressed gratitude to all involved.

Present on the occasion includes Anil Dutta, Ms. Mala Chawla, Anil Khanna, Ms. Meghna Malhotra, Ms. Saminder, Ms. Rashim Gupta and Art Teachers, artists, and parents of the participating students.
